• Monday, August 14 (6:30pm-8:30pm)
• Wednesday, August 16 (6:30pm-8:30pm)
• Monday, August 21 (6:30pm-8:30pm)
• Wednesday, August 23 (6:30pm-8:30pm)

CLASS DESCRIPTION
Java is a foundational language that enables you to develop software, mobile applications, and large systems. This class covers fundamental programming concepts, including object-oriented programming (OOP), using Java.
The concepts we'll cover during our 4 evenings include:
• Primitive Data Types (Variables)
• Operators
• Expressions & Statements
• Flow Control (Blocks)
• Exceptions
• Objects and Classes
• Defining Fields and Methods
• Data Encapsulation
• Subclasses and Inheritance
• Polymorphism
• Abstraction
• Interfaces
You'll leave with a solid foundation to programming concepts with Java, and we'll be there to answer any questions you may have along the way!
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Your laptop and charger.
• Wifi & power strips will be provided.
• Chrome browser (suggested).

AGE DISCLAIMER
Our program and curriculum are geared toward adults over the age of 18; at this time we do not accept minors as students in our courses and workshops.
REFUND POLICY
Your registration guarantees your seat in the entire course. Please note that we cannot issue refunds except in extenuating circumstances or if the class is postponed or canceled. If you must cancel, please contact us within 72 hours of the class start date. We can not transfer your registration to another class. Class proceeds go into the Indianapolis chapter fund, which we use for scholarships.
If we have less than 5 people signed up for this class up to a week before the starting date, it will be postponed for a later date.
