Build Your Own Website: Intro to HTML/CSS (2 Saturday Workshop)

This two-part Intro to HTML/CSS course runs on
• Saturday, May 13th from 9am to 1:30pm.
• Saturday, May 20th from 9am to 1:30pm.
• Each day includes a 30-minute lunch break.

Want to learn how to build your own website? Already have your own site and want to have more control over it? Interested in learning to program but want to start small? If you answered yes to any of the questions above, this course is for you!
This beginner course will guide you through the basics of HTML and CSS to assist you along the way as you develop your own website.
Please only register if you can make BOTH classes, otherwise you will not get the most out of this! You must also be 18 years of age or older.

Tech Requirements:
• Your laptop. Note: A netbook or tablet is NOT a substitute.
• A modern browser with either Chrome (https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/) and the "Web Developer (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/bfbameneiokkgbdmiekhjnmfkcnldhhm)" extension or Firefox (http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/).
• A text editor. We recommend Brackets (http://brackets.io/), Atom (https://atom.io/), or Sublime Text (http://www.sublimetext.com/2) (all are free).
