Code & Coffee events are relaxed and informal, and are intended as a way for our community to work and play together while providing each other with ongoing support and feedback.
During this edition of our Code & Coffee, learn how to pitch a new idea or new technology to make an impact on your team! Ever wanted to present an idea that may be new to your team or your group and you don't really know how to approach the introduction of the idea? During this workshop, you will learn how to present an idea, get team members on board, and create a proof of concept. We will focus on overcoming obstacles and making a lasting impact. This interactive workshop is for those just starting out in tech or anyone who wants to improve on successfully presenting a new idea or new technology.

About Our Speaker:
Shelby Cohen, Intuit - Software Engineer
Shelby graduated from Ithaca College in Spring 2017 with a Computer Science degree. During her time at school, she founded and participated in the Women in Computing Student Organization and travelled to the Grace Hopper Conference as an Anita Borg Scholar. Shelby moved to the west coast to start her career at Intuit about a year ago. She is currently a Software Engineer working on quality tools to test Intuits products like TurboTax and QuickBooks.
