Build Your Own Website: Intro to HTML/CSS

This two-part Intro to HTML/CSS course runs on Saturday, January 21st and Sunday, January 22nd from 11:00am to 4:00pm. Each day includes a 30-minute lunch break.
Want to learn how to build your own website? Already have your own site and want to have more control over it? Interested in learning to program but want to start small? If you answered yes to any of the questions above, this course is for you!
This beginner course will guide you through the basics of HTML and CSS to assist you along the way as you develop your own website.
Tech Requirements:
Your laptop. Note: A netbook or tablet is NOT a substitute.
A modern browser with either Chrome (https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/) and the "Web Developer (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/bfbameneiokkgbdmiekhjnmfkcnldhhm)" extension or Firefox (http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/) and Firebug (http://getfirebug.com/) installed.
A text editor. We recommend Sublime Text 3 (http://www.sublimetext.com/2) (It's free and available for both Mac and PC) or Atom (https://atom.io/).
Elizabeth is a junior front-end developer who began coding with Girl Develop It Philly in early 2015. She went on to intern for an advertising agency in Delaware after deciding it was time for a career switch and teaching herself how to code. She got hired full time and is now working more intently with Girl Develop It Wilmington to give back after gaining so much knowledge and inspiration from GDI.

Parking:
There is metered street parking (quarters only) around 1313 Innovation and it's free after 6:00pm and on weekends.
The recommended parking lot is Colonial Parking at 12th and Orange Streets. The entrance is on Orange Street. This lot is open from 7am - 9pm.
Notes:
Please plan to either pack a lunch or have a place nearby in mind to grab food; lunch will be 30 minutes.
