A monthly dinner and networking series for everyone interested in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). From students just figuring out their interests to those with well-established careers - everyone comes together to meet 'n' greet, learn, network, and have fun! We welcome all aspiring geeks to come hang out with us.
Girl Geek Dinner Events:
Occasionally, we participate in and run events outside of our monthly dinners. These include partnered events with other local groups, educational meetups, and festivals. The goal of these events is education and awareness for STEAM topics.
Please join us at Magnet Forensics on February 27th for an exciting peek behind the scenes of digital forensics! This panel of speakers will walk you through the challenges and rewards of building digital forensics software. We will break down the process from gathering and analyzing data, feature design, development, test, all the way through to launch. Each member of the panel plays a key role in this process. We will discuss our individual contributions as well as the importance of teamwork and collaboration to ensure the best outcome.
