This is a group for all the geeky girls out there who would like to meet other geeky girls and make new friends and have fun!
Making friends as an adult is a lot harder and more awkward than it needs to be, and it's even harder when you can't find others who share your interests! Ask yourself the following questions:
- Are you a 20-30 something-ish female who would like to make new, possibly life-long friends who share similar interests? - Do you enjoy fashion, shopping, watching romantic comedies, cute things, and other "girly" activities? - Do you enjoy video games, anime, board/card/tabletop games, binge-watching tv shows, fandoms of any kind, and other "geeky" things? - Would you be interested in going to movies, bar/pub crawls, stand-up comedy, hiking, karaoke, grabbing coffee, or literally anything that sounds fun?!
If you answered "yes" to any or all of the previous questions, then this is the group for you!
*****Please note!! This is a group dedicated to women. Think of this group as a girls' night. Just as guys might sometimes enjoy a guys' night, we're looking for a space just for women.******
*****To keep this space safe and fun for group members, I will now be approving all people who ask to join our group. You must have a photo of yourself in your profile and, of course, be a woman!*****
NO-SHOW POLICY (PLEASE READ!!!): your organizers work hard to plan fun meetups, and a big part of planning is knowing how many people to expect. Please be considerate, and update your RSVP if you can no longer make an event. Your first and second no-shows are warnings. If you no-show a third time, you will be removed from the group. Some events may have a 24-hour cancellation policy, meaning that you cannot change your RSVP within 24 hours of the meetup. This is to help us plan for reservations and pre-paid events. Please pay attention to the event details for more information. Thanks for your cooperation!
