Glasgow Atlassian Meetup

Join us for the second official Scottish Atlassian User Group meetup on August 17!

Following a successful inaugural meetup in early July, we've decided to stick to the same format of holding a set of short talks/presentations.

The meetup is for anybody that currently uses or has a keen interest in Atlassian's tool-set, whether it's JIRA, Confluence or the entire application stack.

Agenda

• 19.00: Welcome - Nigel Rochford, New Verve Consulting

• 19.10: How Tempo adds value to JIRA - live link with Sandra Axelsdóttir, Tempo

• 19.45: Refreshments (Beer & Food - not Domino's!)

• 20.15: Customer engagement in JIRA Service Desk: moving beyond email - Kris Siwiec, New Verve Consulting

• 20.35: Micro talks - Everyone! Open the floor for 5 minutes with a topic of interest (e.g. what projects are you currently working on?, what features blew you away?, what problems do you currently have?). Each micro talk will then have a mini Q&A from the audience.

• 21.00: Roundup

• 21.10: Networking!

We are seeking an AUG Leader!

An AUG must be led by the community, so unfortunately future events cannot be organized by Nigel or other New Verve Consulting staff as we are Atlassian Expert partners.

AUG leaders are Atlassian customers and volunteer their time to create interesting, fun AUG events. They don't need to be experts and can have experience with only a few of Atlassian's products. You can also email Atlassian (mhercouet@atlassian.com) if you're interested.

What do AUG Leaders do?

AUG leaders schedule and plan events, ensure good meetings, and share back with the community.

You can seek ongoing sponsorship directly from Atlassian and New Verve Consulting (i.e. venue costs, food, drink etc.).
