What we're about

This group is principally for members of the Humanist Society of Scotland in Glasgow and the West of Scotland. Non members who are interested are very welcome too.

We have regular monthly meetings with speakers on a range of interesting topics with the the aim of promoting and exploring Humanism, and what it is to live ethically without a deity.
We also have social events and trips throughout the year - these are more relaxed opportunities to discuss and simply socialise with other freethinking people.
Many of our members are also involved in the T-Run - this is an evening soup-kitchen which is run by a variety of what may most easily be described as 'faith-based groups' (not that we are one!). We run this every Thursday evening and one or two Sundays a month.
If you are interested in finding a Celebrant for a Wedding, Funeral or Naming ceremony, please look at the Humanist Society Scotland website here - https://www.humanism.scot/humanist-ceremonies/weddings_civil_partnerships/
