YP is headquartered in Glendale, CA, and employs nearly 1,000 people at its Brand Boulevard location. And, yes, you will learn that YP is far more than a printed phone book!

ABOUT WENDELL HICKEN

Wendell leads development of YP’s advertising platforms, technology platforms, and enterprise data systems.

Wendell joined YP in 2009 and has played an integral role within the company helping to build out the YP ad delivery platform, serving as Chief Architect, and leading the development of YP’s next generation enterprise platform. Prior to YP, he was CTO for an acoustic music recommendation startup and served as VP of Advanced R&D for Parasoft, working on software development tools, compilers, parallel processing and more. A common theme across his experience has been a focus on extensible platforms – striving for stability and simplicity while enhancing form and functionality.

Wendell holds a BS degree in Engineering and Applied Science from Caltech and lives in Glendale, CA.
