Thank you for joining the Global Bikes Meetup group! We are happy that you found us and we are even more excited to ride with you. Helping new riders fall in love with cycling and helping more seasoned riders find people to ride with are our greatest joys in life.

We offer several classes for you to chose from to help you be the best cyclist you can be! Check out our calendar for a schedule of events.

The Chandler North Saturday Circuit Ride **NEW TIME** 6:45am - Mesa Gateway loop

Join us at Global Bikes North Chandler for our intermediate, no drop road ride.

This is not a fast ride or an easy beginner ride. This will be a fun, intermediate, B/C paced road ride with speeds ranging from 15 – 18 mph. You will need a road bike and for this ride.

The ride will start at the Global Bikes location in North Chandler and the distance will be roughly 30 miles. Expected ride times are 2 to 3 hours.

We will meet at 6:45 am and begin the ride from the shop at 7:00 am

What you will need:

  • A road bike
  • Hydration, Hydration, Hydration!
  • Helmet
  • Sunscreen/sunglasses
  • Lights are required
  • Roadside repair supplies (spare tube, inflation, & tire levers at a minimum)
  • Nutrition for longer rides
  • Dedication

We will have a pre-ride huddle covering rider safety and the route we will take.

Prior to attending, please make sure your bike is in proper working order. If you need help getting your bike back to riding condition, please stop by one of our locations. Global Bikes offers several service options to get your bike ready to ride. Bicycle service can take a few days so please plan accordingly.

GLOBAL BIKES RIDE WAIVER

When you attend this event, you are agreeing to the following:
While bicycling is an outstanding recreational sport, it also involves risk and even dangers. Some of these dangers include, but are not limited to, traveling on or crossing heavily traveled roads, steep descents, potholes, accidents, unexpected moves of another rider, physical exertion, fatigue, flat tires, and motorists. Ride terrain, pace and distance may vary from the written or verbal description. In addition, mountain bike rides may involve steep descents on heavily rutted roads and/or trails, rock and log hopping, cactus, snakes, or other wildlife.
I acknowledge that Eighty Hour Weeks, LLC, Alan D. Lepak, and RMAL, LLC (all DBA Global Bikes) require the wearing of helmets as well as other safety gear and agree to hold Global Bikes and the ride leaders harmless for any injury resulting from my failure to wear a helmet or other safety gear.
The undersigned acknowledges that the risks recited above as well as numerous other dangers are inherent in recreational bicycling and the undersigned agrees to assume all risks associated with participation in ride activities. The undersigned further agrees to save and hold harmless (following entities are all DBA Global Bikes) Eighty Hour Weeks, LLC, Alan D. Lepak, RMAL, LLC, and All its’ employees, ride leader, coordinators, members, and other riders from any and all liability for any injury or damage resulting from, or in any way connected with, participation in group/store/club activities.
I warrant that I am competent to ride safely and that my bicycle and equipment are in safe working condition. I agree to obey all traffic laws and to practice safety and courtesy when cycling. I hereby consent to and permit any emergency treatment in the event of injury or illness.
In the case of children under the age of 18, I hereby agree to the terms of the above waiver on behalf of my child/children. I agree that Global Bikes, its officers, activity organizers, employees, ride leaders and other members have no obligation to provide instruction to, or supervision of my children.
I give Eighty Hour Weeks, LLC, Alan D. Lepak, RMAL, LLC, its employees, and agents unlimited permission to use, publish and re-publish in any form of media reproductions of my likeness (photographs or video) with or without identification of me by name. Ahwatukee Nacho ride (not your normal fast and dirty Mountain Bike Ride)!

Global Bikes & E-Bikes

Join us at Global Bikes Ahwatukee for our Nacho ride (not your normal fast and dirty Mountain Bike Ride)!

This is a bi-weekly beginner mountain bike ride! Mountain bikes ARE required for maximum enjoyment on this ride (sorry, no hybrids please). The ride is open to new beginner skilled riders; however, no rider will be left out. The ride will start at the Global Bikes location in Ahwatukee, and the distance will be roughly 3 - 6 miles. Expected ride times are 1 –2 hours.

We will meet at 5:00pm and begin the ride from the shop to the Warpaint trail at 5:15pm

We will have a pre-ride huddle covering rider safety and the route.

What you will need:

  • A mountain bike
  • Hydration, Hydration, Hydration!
  • Helmet
  • Sunscreen and sunglasses
  • Trailside repair supplies (spare tube, inflation, & tire levers at a minimum)
  • Nutrition

Yes, this is a beginner's ride, but we will be riding on a dirt trail with rocks and the potential to use your helmet that is required. This is a ride at your own risk event.

How to Prepare for Your Ride Clinic @ Ahwatukee

Join us for our Ride Preparedness clinic at our Ahwatukee location.
If you are new to cycling this is a must!
Cost: FREE!
Who: Global Bikes
What we will cover:

  • What items you need to be ready for anything on a ride
  • How to change and patch an inner tube
  • How to repair a tubeless tire with a plug
  • Basic roadside or trailside fixes
  • Basic maintenance to keep your bike in tip-top shape

You do NOT need to bring your own bike for this class as we have plenty of bikes here to work on. But, definitely bring your questions :-)

Global Bikes Ahwatukee MTB Night Ride

The Ahwatukee Wednesday Night Mountain Bike Ride
Meetup with Jacob at our Ahwatukee Shop (Ray Rd. west of 48th -[masked]) and ride to Desert Classic Trail at South Mountain. We will meet at 7:00 PM with wheels down at 7:15 PM.

Mountain bikes ARE required for maximum enjoyment on this ride (sorry no hybrids please). The ride is open to intermediate skilled riders; however, no rider will be left behind. We always have a sweeper and will go at whatever pace is needed for the group.

The ride averages 5 – 8 miles depending on who shows up, energy levels, and weather. Good attitudes and adequate lighting (500+ lumens) are required for maximum enjoyment. This is a ride at your own risk event.

What you will need:

  • Adequate lighting – at least 500 lumens
