Global Plymouth is running a social media storytelling campaign called ๐๐ฐ๐ญ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ณ๐ด ๐ง๐ฐ๐ณ ๐๐ค๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ญ๐ข๐ณ๐ด to spotlight everyday heroes under the theme โ๐๐ฆ๐ญ๐ฆ๐ฃ๐ณ๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ฅ๐ช๐ฏ๐ข๐ณ๐บ ๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ฑ๐ญ๐ฆ ๐ฎ๐ข๐ฌ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐ข๐ฏ ๐ฆ๐น๐ต๐ณ๐ข๐ฐ๐ณ๐ฅ๐ช๐ฏ๐ข๐ณ๐บ ๐ฅ๐ช๐ง๐ง๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ค๐ฆ.โ
The campaign was born out of a simple idea: while hatred and fear are tearing communities apart, we can choose a different path. Instead of giving oxygen to negativity, we want to highlight the quiet acts of love, kindness, and support that build stronger, more compassionate communities. Our aim is to create a โ๐๐จ๐ช๐ฃ๐๐ข๐ ๐ค๐ ๐๐ค๐ค๐๐ฌ๐๐ก๐กโ that drowns out division with hope and inspiration.

## Your Volunteer Hosts
Saul Whitford is an award winning sustainability professional, helping businesses on their journey to net zero. With 20 years of experience in the manufacturing sector, he helps businesses at a strategic level to understand the significance of what they do, their impacts on a wide range of stakeholders and how to articulate and express a clear and concise narrative to ensure engagement.Saul is currently at the Sustainable Earth Institute leading Knowledge Exchange at the Net Zero Exchange project. He has a passion for carbon credits and the voluntary carbon market as well as those businesses offering innovative solutions within the space. He also has a keen interest in blockchain and web3 and how this will affect the sustainability landscape in the future. In his free time, Saul loves nothing more than being out in the wild, whether that's on the water surfing or sailing, or on land running and mountain biking.
Megan Pearce is the Group Leader of the Frazer-Nash Sustainability and Environmental Assurance team. They deliver cross-sector services in the disciplines of environmental management systems, compliance and permitting, decarbonisation and climate adaptation. Megan is a technical specialist in the use of climate scenarios and data for assessing climate-related physical and transitional risk and opportunity. She is passionate about accessible climate science communication, STEM education and mentoring.In her spare time, Megan is an avid sportswoman, reader and cook. Be ready to chat sport, coffee and food.
