Talking sticks and social walk in Hampstead heath: About happiness

Details

Talking sticks is a practice consisting of having a stick that represents the right to speak.

In a circle, the person who holds the sticks speaks and nobody is allowed to interrupt. This creates conditions for good quality listening. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talking_stick)

You may prepare what you may wish to share on the theme of happiness - a one to two minutes speech is a good format - or simply attend and take part as it goes along.

Happiness is a very broad subject, so you're free to get more specific ( Happiness in a time of climate change, happiness and West values etc...)

We will gather for a one hour talking sticks session in the park, after which we will walk about in Hampstead Heath, as social walking groups do, and have great conversation on the topic of happiness... or anything else! In a walking group, it's easy to have a chat with many other participants, especially after a formal talking session, so more can be said and heard....

This is an event I propose on https://www.meetup.com/Philosophical-Social-Walks-in-London-Parks I will tell one or two stories related with the theme indeed...
