Are you someone interested in social reporting or do you have a story to tell?

GlobalNet21 was set up to discuss some of the big issues of our century and to give a voice to those often unheard in the public square. We do this through meetings and webinars but we also do this through digital stories and social reporting.

So we are holding a meeting for those interested in developing this side of our activities – that is of being social reporters or collecting digital stories. We have also collected some digital stories with the Migrant Museum Project and will be doing more with Sports Inspired.

Christina has set up a Facebook Group for those interested in Social Reporting and you can find that at https://www.facebook.com/groups/socialreportersnetwork/

And we are considering developing a weekly internet tv programme where social reporters will have an outlet for their materials and reports.

So if you are interested in discussing all of this then come along to our meeting so that we can go through it all and develop it.

When the mainstream news in these days is so biased and slanted towards the corporate elites who dominate our society then the New Media offers the possibility for citizens to have their voice and to be heard.

So come along and join us and let’s see what is possible.
