This Webinar will look at how GlobalNet21 can continue online the debates and discussions that we pursue in many of our events.
We are collaborating with Netivist to do this. Netivist is a new global platform that aims at channelling online activism and promoting civic engagement. It is the first to offer a single platform where users can vote, debate and organize collective action.

The Netivist platform was started by JOSE JAVIER OLIVAS OSUNA and he will be presenting this Webinar with us. He will describe what Netivist does and also how it can work together with GlobalNet21 to create ongoing debate,
This will be of interest to other groups who work with us and who may wish to use this platform as well. It is a great resource and Jose helps you develop your debate or campaign page so that it is sharply focussed.
You can hear what Jose says about Netivist and its collaboration with GlobalNet21 here.
You can visit the Netivist site here (https://netivist.org/)
We have two debates on that site already and you can check those out at the links below.
Transparency and Open Government (https://netivist.org/debate/transparency-in-government-and-open-data) and
Future of the UK – A Break Up? (https://netivist.org/debate/future-of-uk-break-up)
So join us to see how this platform can be used not only by GlobalNet21 but also by the groups that we work with and develop events.
If you have no already done so then please Pay Your Annual Subscription to Attend
Although membership of our site is free we do expect all those who attend our events to pay an annual subscription that covers attendance not just one meeting but to all our network meetings and webinars for any one year. It also allows you to bring one guest free to every meeting or webinar.
If you are unable to pay online this way can you please let us know and we will make other arrangements. Also we never refuse membership to anyone who is unable to pay, so do please let us know if there are difficulties this way and you will still be able to join in.
