What we're about

Gain self-assurance speaking to audiences. Improve leadership skills. --> --> --> A MORE CONFIDENT YOU!

Gloucester Speakers Club – part of Toastmasters International - will give you the skill and confidence you need to effectively express yourself in any situation.

We are local, national and international. Whoever you are, a professional, a student, or retired wherever you are in the country or the world...
Our club meetings are learn-by-doing workshops in which we hone our speaking and leadership skills in a NO pressure atmosphere.
There is NO instructor.
Instead, members evaluate each other’s presentations.
One more great thing, it does not cost you more than two cups of coffee per meeting.
If you would like to increase your self-confidence, become a better speaker or leader - Toastmasters is the right place to start. So try one of our meetings and come for FREE as our guest.

We meet online on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month at 7:15 pm London time. Come along to a meeting and learn how to develop your skills in a friendly and supportive environment.

If you like us, join us. You'll be enrolled in our educational program which will give you the skills you need in speaking, presenting in front of an audience, and managing a group.

ONLINE Gloucester Speakers Club meeting

Needs a location

Are you are troubled by giving speeches? We can help you learn and improve your public speaking skills. We are meeting entirely online during lockdown - after things get back to normal, we will meet both online and in person.

Many people are nervous when faced with having to speak before an audience, give a presentation to a meeting, or pitching their services to a client. We believe that learning skills in a friendly and supportive environment is the best way.

At Gloucester Speakers, you will learn speaking skills by following an education programme, known as Pathways. You can practice speeches at the club and receive supportive and insightful feedback from members. You can watch, listen and learn from other speakers. As your confidence and skills develop, you can take on more challenging roles and more demanding speeches.

We are a warm and friendly club, part of Toastmasters International, and we are devoted to improving our members speaking and leadership skills.

Come along to the meeting as our guest. Sign up here on Meetup and we will give you the details of how to join our club event. Come and see what we do and what we can offer you. There's no obligation and we will not ask you to give a speech on your first visit.

So do come along or contact us. We will be glad to see or hear from you.

In addition to the guests on Meetup, 11 regular members will get together online to speak in front of an audience.

There will be challenges to speak briefly on unseen topics and prepared speeches from people who are working through our educational program.

This meetup group is the place to sign up as a guest to our meetings - try us out, and if you like our group, become a member.

7.15 pm for a 7.30 start

Remember, the Meetup group is just a place we recruit members, and our meetings are much busier than the attendance on Meetup suggests. There will be 10-12 people attending.

We hope you can come and join us and have some fun.
