Details
Open Meeting: The Future of GnosticNYC (http://gnosticnyc.com/next/)
2:00pm EDT Sunday 18 September 2016 at CRS in Manhattan
After more than a year of inactivity, GnosticNYC is meeting again.
The purpose is to
• Re-introduce Gnosticism and GnosticNYC
• Find out what people want from GnosticNYC
• Encourage interested people to volunteer and help GnosticNYC
A limited number of free hard copies of a Gnostic liturgy will be given away at the meeting: The Liturgy of Divine Wisdom: The Holy Gnostic Eucharist according to the practice of the Alexandrian Gnostic Church (AGC) (50 pages)
If you can attend, please RSVP through Facebook, through MeetUp, or by email to info@gnosticnyc.com .
(RSVP is helpful, but not required.)

If you can not attend, let us know your interest by email to info@gnosticnyc.com .
An informal presentation will cover
• What is Gnosticism (ancient and modern revival)
• What is GnosticNYC
• What GnosticNYC has done in the past (lectures, liturgies, workshops, social gatherings)
• What GnosticNYC might do in the future
GnosticNYC was founded and sustained by two individuals who dedicated a great deal of their time, effort and other resources to the organization. Both had to leave by the end of 2014. If we can not get enough new volunteers, GnosticNYC can not survive.
Admission and donations
Admission is free. Donations will be invited to pay for the room, but donating is purely voluntary.
Meeting place and rules
We will meet at the Center for Remembering and Sharing (CRS), 123 4th Ave 2nd floor (between E 12th & 13th St), New York NY 10003, at 2:00pm EDT Sunday 18 September 2016.
If the street door is locked, buzz CRS on the 2nd floor.
Do not come more than 15 minutes early; CRS has very limited space for waiting.
Our actual meeting room is on the 3rd floor, but CRS requires attendees come to the 2nd floor reception area first.
Shoes are not allowed in our room, so be prepared to remove them at the room entrance.
No food or drink is allowed in the room.
