  • This month we are going to do a collaboration with SF Trail Runners and tag onto an event they are hosting! Let's get out and meet some new people! The below is a description of the event as of 11/21, but it may change leading up to the event, so please check out their event site to make sure that you are up to date on the details:

Let's trail run about 12 miles at Almaden Quicksilver County park in San Jose, covering trails that are part of the West Coast 25K/50K! Route TBD for now, but meetup location will be the parking lot at Mockingbird Hill entrance. We can grab foooood after too! This run will start later than usual (10 AM).

If you need a ride, please RSVP and get it arranged ahead of time as late RSVPs who need rides might have trouble getting that covered. Message Gabe if you need help with that, or have questions about the run.

To find the meetup location, search for Almaden Quicksilver County Park, Mockingbird Hill Entrance, San Jose. Almaden Quicksilver County Park: This is a great county park in the foothills of the Sierra Azul mountains of San Jose. The park was once a thriving Quicksilver mine with a rich history and remnants of mining that remain today including a 100+ year old cemetery, abandoned mines and more. The park is over 4,000 acres and has 37 miles of dirt trail - both single track and fire road - with varying terrain and flora. Link here...

For those of you running the West Coast 25K/50K in February ( this will be a great training run!
