A group dedicated to intellectual discussions and meeting people who like good food, drinks, and conversation. Open to all regardless of background and whether open or skeptical towards faith. Have a drink (beer, wine, shot, pop, ice tea, whatever) and discuss issues relating to big picture topics of why we are here and what, if anything, it all means. Topics will range from whether we need religion to know God, who is Jesus and does it really matter anyway, is God even real and knowable, as well as freewheeling Q&A sessions. Meeting spots will be various downtown Royal Oak locations. Led by Bill Barnwell, local playwright and pastor of a downtown Royal Oak group who has advanced graduate degrees in both theology and law. Safe people, safe atmosphere, no judgment.
