About us

Golang Birmingham is a Birmingham-based community for people interested in the Go programming language, whether you are already using Go professionally, learning it, or simply curious about what makes the language useful.
The group creates opportunities to:

  • Learn more about Go and related technologies
  • Share ideas, experiences and practical lessons
  • Meet and socialise with friendly people in the Go community
  • Connect with developers, engineers and technology enthusiasts in Birmingham and the wider West Midlands

We want Golang Birmingham to be a welcoming, respectful and inclusive community for everyone. All attendees, speakers, organisers and sponsors are expected to follow the Go Community Code of Conduct:
https://go.dev/conduct

Please do not contact members privately without their consent, either through this platform or on third-party platforms such as LinkedIn or X. If we receive reports of unsolicited messages, we may treat this as a serious breach of community expectations.
