Interactive Go Coding Session with Artur Kondas

I'm very excited to share our first ever live and interactive coding session!!!

This is a great event for anyone new to Go, whatever their level of wider experience. Artur Kondas will be leading us through the construction of a simple application that will serve as the building blocks for further work with the language.

If you have never worked with the language before please join us over Zoom on Wednesday 17th June at 6pm for a great introduction and build your first Go application!

Even if you have started to work with the technology but are still at your early stages of experimentation this could be a great boost to help you continue to work with Go further.

What we will do: Create an application to play MP3 file from the terminal

What we will cover:

• Language basics
• How to create and use modules
• How to understand Go concurrency model
• How to take the app to the next step after the meetup

Prerequisites:

• Have Go installed on your computer
• any IDE (Artur be using Vim and will explain what he's using it with)
