WTF is Go

Join us at our inaugural Golang St. Pete meetup.

The popularity of Go (or Golang for friendly internet search purposes) has exploded in the last couple of years, but there's still plenty of us that don't quite get WTF the big deal is.

By attending this introductory meetup, you'll not only learn what Go is but also how it differs from some other popular contemporary languages (javascript, python, C#, etc) and what makes it so friggin awesome.

(Warning: John Adams will be presenting at this meetup, so expect hand waving, some well-intentioned PHP bashing, a somewhat disturbing love of Go and an all-around amusing time)
