▪ Best practices for building Kubernetes Operators — Patryk Wasielewski (AWS)

Session Description: Nowadays Operators have become the essential unit for extending Kubernetes clusters. But as its popularity grows, we shouldn't forget about developing it in secure and scale oriented manner. Due to these concerns transforming applications and business logic into Kubernetes native way can turn into a complex and overwhelming mission for the engineering teams. During this session, I will present lessons and strategies for leveraging the full potential of Operators capabilities and provide insights into implementation details.

▪ HTTP Proxying 101 and lessons learned from building a proxy in Go — Michał Matczuk (SauceLabs)

In this talk I will share my experience building production grade proxy in Go. I'll talk about HTTP proxying in general and deep dive into selected topics like performance, security, and the standard library. ▪ Patryk Wasielewski is an architect with several years of experience in designing Cloud Native solutions. Currently working at AWS as DevOps Consultant. On a daily basis, he is a Kubernetes enthusiast specializing in GitOps and Service Mesh solutions. In free time, he is an aspiring "Flesh and Blood" player

▪ Michał Matczuk is a seasoned software engineer at Sauce Labs where he works on the Sauce Connect proxy. He is best known for his work on Cassandra and ScyllaDB Go drivers and tools while his long tenure at ScyllaDB. He is passionate about Go and Open-Source.
