About us

Are you interested in Google's Go Programming language and the computer science theory behind the language? Come to GoDFW to discuss either the practical "extreme" coding techniques of the Go language or the deeper theoretical concepts developed during the past 50 years that inspired Go.

We're looking for folks who combine both a hardy, practical bent to programming with a restless interest in more abstract, cutting edge techniques. For example, Go's cleaner syntax works brilliantly well for day-to-day coding, but the deeper abstractions behind Go, like Communicating Sequential Processes, inspired pipes in unix.
