Do you get bored easily? Always struggling to find a friend to do the fun stuff with like hiking, checking out bars and restaurants PLUS anything in between?
Do you like going out for coffee, dinners, trying new fitness classes and exploring what's out and about around the coast from bars, cafes to markets?
Personally we know how hard it can be to meet like minded individuals no matter where in the world you go hence the birth of this group. To bring people together and have like minded individuals meet, greet and build friendships over similar interests and hobbies.
We run any event from nights out, days in, movie dates, day trips and anything else exciting and different in-between. If there are 4 + RSVP's to any event it goes ahead, otherwise is moved to a further date that is more suitable for others to attend.
Doesn't matter if you are single or a couple, everyone is welcome.
To help cover costs on running this group some events are run with a $2 donation collected at the beginning to secure the spot and allow future events to run. Also some activities do cost money but this is sorted out on the day with cash.
This is just to remind everyone that its important to let hosts know you can not make an event - especially when there are limited places. If you fail to do this and simply don't turn up then this counts as a No Show. If you do this more than 3 times you will no longer be able to sign up to events. We know that things happen but remember that simply cancelling 30 minutes before also means that your ticket will go to waste and other people who would have come have missed out. Please bear this in mind and where possible let your host know asap.
