What we're about

The goal of this particular group is simple and pure: play golf in a fun, social, non-competitive, and encouraging environment. :)

This group is ideal for those who:

1.) Want to enhance their golf skills within a non-threatening SOCIAL atmosphere.

2.) Are tired of their spouse, significant other, friend, or family member pretending they are the finest unpaid golf instructor ☺.

Because golf can be expensive, we try to select courses where the cost for morning tee times are moderately priced. To achieve this goal, we don’t add anything additional to the event cost. This way, you are in control of how much you’ll spend at each event (drinks, food, etc.).

All levels are welcome! To accommodate each skill level, we have a “play any way” philosophy-- each foursome decides the format of their game.

This is a group is for women (late 30s, 40s, 50s)-- who are currently learning or already play golf-- in a relaxing and encouraging environment. We play 9 or 18 holes once month located on golf courses that generally are located on the Mid-Peninsula (San Francisco – Palo Alto), but sometimes otherwise.

Although this is a social and non-competitive group, if you have NEVER played and are looking to try golf for the first time, then we would advise you to take a lesson or two before attending an event.

General Group Information:

• All gatherings will be enjoyable, non-competitive, and followed by a social catch up over drinks (and possibly a meal) at a local watering hole. Join any event that pique’s your interest and be ready to have some fun!

• You must attend at least one event per year.

• We will occasionally schedule a basic group lesson/clinic to assist individuals who would like to improve their game.

Rules of Play:

You are expected to know the basic rules of golf, golf etiquette, and pace of play. Information on rules can be found through NCGA.org or USGA.org.

RSVP's:

Please do not show up to an event without submitting an RSVP. I will need to set up tee times and the amount of players in advance of the event. You do NOT have to have your own foursome formed.

If you commit to an event, then show up! If you don’t think you can commit to an event, then don’t. It’s just that simple. We understand that sometimes circumstances occur that are beyond our control. Therefore, cancellations within 24hrs and no shows are responsible for paying their green fees. Failure to do so will result in being removed from the group. Thank you for your understanding.
