Open House - Meet The Canadian World Speaking Finalist

Goodyear Toastmasters invites YOU to come visit our club on September 28th, 6:30 - 9:00pm at the Etobicoke Civic Centre. This will be a fantastic chance to learn about what Toastmasters is and how it can benefit you.

In addition, come meet John Andrews, our former club President, who recently competed at Toastmasters International in Vancouver for the title of World Champion of Public Speaking 2017.

This contest started with over 352,000 members in 16,400 clubs in 141 countries around the world. Of the 100 semifinalists from around the world who came to Vancouver to compete, John was one of the ten who advanced to the final round and the only Canadian. At this meeting, you will have one final opportunity to hear the speech that got him to the final round, and network.

At the end of our meeting, you will also have an opportunity to join our club as a member for the full Toastmasters year of September 2017 - August 2018. Bring a cheque if you would like to consider joining, but if not, simply feel free to come back as a guest and check us out again.
