Join this workshop and get started with Cloud Native. We are going to deploy an application from scratch to Google Cloud Kubernetes Engine and learn best practices. Kubernetes is right now the best tool for any company to adopt because it gives you all the tools to go fast without being tied to something that can not scale or grow as your application becomes larger.
What do I want to cover:
2. Google CloudBuild
3. Container Registry
4. Docker Multistage - Secret management
5. Google Cloud Stackdriver
6. Google Cloud IAM together with Kubernetes
7. Environments - Production, staging, dev, review?
8. How to debug the cloud:
To attend this workshop you should already have:
- played around with docker
- used github
- used the terminal
- have a Google Cloud account
This is going to be a paid workshop. It is also non-profit and all proceeds will be donated to Røde Kors.
You will get a printed Kubernetes cheatsheet and also have all the exercises available to take home.

Prices for attending: 30 dkk
Why does it cost money?
The money will cover the food and drink costs, and print out the materials that you get. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Red Cross! The budget will be shared in an open spreadsheet. I also want to have an event where you will not be hungry or thirsty while learning. The location and drinks are helped by Google.
Why are you doing this?
I really think that Kubernetes is a great tool that is helping developer grow and scale their application. I am not working for Google or paid by Google, I am only doing this because I think it is fun to teach and help! And helping raise money for the Red Cross only makes this experience better.
Here are reviews from previous workshops I have done:
