Hello all, We had a good meeting tonight. Things are really coming together, thanks to all of the great committee chairs and new ideas for the show continue to be shared. We will continue with the planning of the September show at our July meeting. All members are welcome to attend and participate. I would especially like to invite new members. Even if you feel you are too new to the club to have anything to contribute, you might be surprised. And, it's a great way to learn about the club and get to know some of our members. Our main goal, from now until the show, is to get members involved in the many volunteer positions needed for putting on this amazing event. Even if you aren't involved in the planning process, please be thinking about where you would like to help out. At the moment, these are the areas we know will need volunteers. Other needs will be added in the near future. Keep in mind, these people are needed for 2 hr slots minimum. Anyone who would like to help for a longer period of time is welcome, of course. Silent Auction- needs 16+ Ticket Booth- 20 Grab Bags - Stuffing bags on a designated day-10-12 Booth-3 in the booth for 2hr shifts Geodes- 4+ at least 2 for each day We will also need a number of members to work as "roamers" who will help out as needed. We will put up a volunteers sign up board by the July Potluck meeting. So please be ready to sign up for something that looks like it might be fun. I am very aware that the members of this club are awesome at stepping up to help at the shows but knowing who will be doing what is much less stressful for the planning committee than leaving it to chance. Thank you so much, Linda Booker Committee Chair
