Andres Aslan received degrees from Brown University (B.S.) and the University of Colorado-Boulder (M.S., Ph.D.). He has been a geology professor at Colorado Mesa University since 1999. Prior to this he worked at the Bureau of Economic Geology at UT-Austin, taught at Oberlin College and Mary Washington University and worked at the Smithsonian Institution. His research interests include modern and ancient river systems,paleosols, landscape evolution, and tectonic geomorphology.
