GraphQL Meetup - Sep 23, 2019

This is the first (of hopefully many) meet-ups on the subject of GraphQL.

Our first speakers will be Siebe Jan Stoker (https://github.com/esjee) and Sean Lawrence (https://github.com/seanWlawrence).

GraphQL Contracts
Siebe Jan is a Ruby lover that has had several years of experience working with GraphQL on production systems.

Coming from a land far far away, he hopes to talk about an idea called 'contracts' that hopes to standardize common patterns between GraphQL endpoints*. Hoping to make new friends, Siebe Jan also hopes to make use of this meetup to get to know you and collect stickers.

Sean Lawrence is a full stack engineer at Make School. He uses GraphQL daily in production and is actively involved coaching others in the React Apollo community.

His talk will cover best practices for leveraging GraphQL’s strong type system to:

• Speed up GraphQL development
• Improve communication with mocks
• Simplify API architecture
