Just about anything to do with outdoor activities with a motor or just relaxing camping trips either in an RV or toy hauler to bring you ATV, Motorcycle so can tour the camping area? or boat to get out on the water

~ This is an easy riding group and an not in rush to go anywhere, always looking for riding activities

~ All-day motorcycle rides on paved roads only and we do also do camping trips

~ Scenic rural roads in northern California (Some freeway riding)

~ Various one-day rides or camping trips up to 400 miles in length, but that is very rare!

~ Ride only during daylight hours

~ Max group size of 20 bikes per ride

~Ride safely and responsibly

~ I limit this group to 50 Members, there is no need to have anymore members than that

~ Inactive Members in or about 3 months may be removed? to allow new members that would like to be active in this group! (NOT A CLUB)

~ My rule is that you must have a motorcycle or be a passenger of member! I do not allow anyone to join just to try and get to be a passenger of another members bike!

If you share those same preferences, then I invite you to join me on the rides by signing up for this meetup group and reply for the rides that appeal to you.  .

It is all about having fun touring the countryside on a motorcycle as we enjoy the scenery along the way, the lunch stops, scenic vista stops, mountain passes, lake side cruising, etc

I set the max bike limit at 20 for the single-day rides  Any larger and it gets too difficult to keep a group together.

PLEASE NOTE:  (THIS IS NOT A "CLUB) Janet & I who enjoys riding my motorcycle on routes I like and to destinations! I invite other riders to go with us if they want to go.  It's nothing more than that. No bylaws, no club patches for jackets, no club name, no elected officers,  The only reason I created this meetup website is to provide a way for riders to see where I am planning to go so that riders can decide if they want to go, and if they do, this website provides a way for riders to RSVP for the rides?

All motorcycle brands and styles are welcome.  Three-wheel bikes 2 in the front or 2 in the rear does not matter, you are also welcome to ride with us!  Riders of all ages are welcome. I am in my 60's and I have been riding motorcycles for over 50 years PLUS  and have owned close to 30 bikes over the years So both male and female riders are welcome.

Since I only enjoy fair weather riding, I always do a "weather check" a couple of days before the ride, and I post the results of that and specify whether the ride is still a go or not to go?  I also e-mail that info to those who RSVP'd for the ride.  I do not hesitate to cancel a ride if the weather forecast is less than favorable.  As a general rule of thumb, if it is 10 to 15 percent chance of rain we will go on one-day rides that are planned in advance for the year to get cancelled due to weather.  That's just normal.

My bike is equipped with a GPS,  and will know my next turn if navigation is working properly? I also make sure we have fuel stops planned no more than about a hundred miles apart I always post the total mileage for each ride, along with the planned lunch stop.  I do not typically list other planned stops even though they are part of the ride.  I usually have stops every hour or so, just to get off the bike and stretch for a bit.

We both still work on weekdays, which is why I ride on Saturdays or Sundays and weekday ride is still possible

You are welcome to sign up to become a member of this meetup any time you wish.  After I review your profile and approve you as a member, you can then RSVP for rides of your choice.

When you join my meetup group as a new member, if you see a ride you want to go on but it's already full (no spots available), you can still go!  I extend to all new members a one-time RSVP to go on any ride that's already full.

Also, please note that I do not allow any form of advertising on my meetup site, nor do I allow people to join for the purpose of sending messages to members to solicit business of any kind.  I will delete anyone who joins my meetup site for those purposes, and I will delete anything that promotes any financial benefit to anyone or any business.  My meetup site is strictly for those who want to go riding. nor do I allow any content that would be considered offensive, crude, vulgar, foul language, fault-finding, or disrespectful to others. If you have personal problems? Please keep it out of this group! If it starts to affect the group or any member? I may ask you you leave?
