Welcome to the Greater North Texas Network for Weston A. Price Foundation. As a chapter leader for WAPF HEB, I am inviting individuals, families and especially other WAPF Chapter Leaders in the DFW and surrounding areas to join in and use this wonderful Meetup as a perfect resource. Did you know there are dozens of WAPF Meetups nationally and internationally and this is the first one to network the DFW area! We are here to direct you to like-minded individuals who are looking for sources of the healthiest food available with hands-on, in person help for finding, preparing and eating a nutrient-dense diet based on Dr. Weston A. Price's research. We are not a single Meetup but a network to provide real time connection for you in Dallas-Fort Worth and surrounding areas.
The Weston A. Price Foundation is dedicated to restoring nutrient-dense foods to the diet through education, research and activism, and supports accurate nutrition instruction, organic and biodynamic farming, pasture feeding of livestock, community-supported farms, honest and informative labeling and prepared parenting. Specific goals include establishing universal access to clean raw milk from pasture-fed cows and a ban on the use of soy formula for infants through its Soy Alert! Project.
"If people let the government decide what foods they eat and what medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in as sorry a state as the souls who live under tyranny." Thomas Jefferson (1778) -
"The Weston A. Price Foundation challenges politically correct nutrition and the diet dictocrats, promoting wise traditions in food, farming and the healing arts. The Weston A. Price Foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt charity founded in 1999 to disseminate the research of nutrition pioneer Dr. Weston Price, whose studies of isolated non-industrialized peoples established the parameters of human health and determined the optimum characteristics of human diets. Dr. Price's research demonstrated that humans achieve perfect physical form and perfect health generation after generation only when they consume nutrient-dense whole foods and the vital fat-soluble activators found exclusively in animal fats."
The Wise Tradition Conference produced by WAPF is held every year around the US and in November they are returning to Dallas (Allen) for the first time since 2011. This is the event that introduced me to WAPF and I had a wonderful weekend learning so much and enjoying the atmosphere of like-minded individuals. I was uplifted immeasurably and this weekend inspired me to volunteer to be a chapter leader for my community.
