What is your present background in the German language?

I was an exchange student in high school

Why are you interested in practicing your German?

I feel a strong connection to my German experience. It played a large role in shaping who I am today.

Is there any specific topic you are particularly interested in?

I'm open to most topics.

Is there any particular area of the German language you would value practicing the most?

In German, the formalities that are observed between acquaintances is much more important than they are in American English. I need to practice that.

Do you have a background in any other language(s)? If so, could you provide some information?

I speak some Spanish and Portuguese. I am fascinated by languages and their histories, so I have also dabbled in learning Arabic, Greek, and Hebrew although I would not say that I "speak" any of them.

I am the only German speaker in my home and would like to keep it from getting any rustier than it already is.
