What we’re about
The Greater Seattle Tarot Meetup promises to bring together all levels of tarot practitioners in the Seattle Metro Area and beyond. Our goal is to provide a safe and encouraging space to learn, practice, and share the art of tarot for guidance and growth.
Through regular meetups, in-depth classes, and fun social events, the Greater Seattle Tarot Meetup seeks to nurture our local tarot community. Join us to learn something new, develop your skills, expand your confidence, and explore the tarot.
We love the tarot both for its simplicity and complexity. All tarot practice begins with the image on the card and the unfolding story in the spread. But a variety of metaphysical traditions inform the system of tarot divination, including astrology, qabalah, numerology, and healing. Through the cultivation of knowledge, the awakening of intuition, and the diligence of practice we seek to apply tarot and its complementary esoteric tools for personal growth and spiritual transformation.
Whether you’re just starting out, or if you’ve followed the Fool for years on this lifelong journey, welcome to the Greater Seattle Tarot Meetup!
Currently, our meetups are held via Zoom. We generally meet on the first and third Saturdays from 9:30-11:30 am Pacific time. Please check out our event listing to see upcoming topics. I hope to see you at our next event!

Heart of the Dark Woods Full Day Workshop

Every person's experience is totally unique using my tried and true system.
Spiritual practices and healing work will ease the process while giving you tools to maintain your success.

About Your Presenter
Joy Vernon is an astrologer and tarot reader in Burien, Washington. She is the Organizer of the Greater Seattle Tarot Meetup and serves on the board of the Washington State Astrological Association. Joy brings expertise and practiced familiarity to her specialty of esoteric tarot, which layers astrological and qabalistic symbolism onto the traditional images. Over the past ten years, Joy has published more than 300 free articles on tarot, astrology, qabalah, Reiki, and meditation on her blog Completely Joyous.
