[ONLINE] Jupiter Conjunct Neptune in Pisces

Details

Symbolically, Neptune is the planet of the nebulous, leaving in its wake a lack of clarity and feeling foggy or unsure. It seeks to escape or transcend the mundane. Jupiter is the planet of expansion, optimism, luck, and generosity. Unfortunately, Jupiter enlarges anything it touches, so it can spin the Neptunian dizziness like a top. Pisces can be compared to the vast, boundless, and undifferentiated sea. Everything dissolves into unity in Pisces. It can also represent gestation as a metaphor for inner work or slow, invisible growth. Jupiter is the traditional ruler of Pisces, while Neptune is its modern ruler. So what happens when these two ships pass in the Piscean night?

The phrase "alternative facts" was coined and rose into prominence during the year that Jupiter in Scorpio formed a trine to Neptune in Pisces. As these two planets now resolve that trine and come together, we recognize daily how tricky facts can be. One scientific study says this, another one says that. We have to look at what underlies them (such as who requested and who paid for the study) to find the truth. At times, truth seems impossibly elusive. If nothing makes sense, and nothing but gray fog is on your horizon, you might be feeling the effect of the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction in Pisces.

But, there is good news! When we don't have all the facts we need, or are doubtful of which story is true, we each have our own internal gauge called intuition. Jupiter conjoining Neptune in Pisces ramps up your psychic abilities, proffering internal clarity. If you've ever practiced scrying, you've experienced that moment when the mist clears and the visions begin. When you've sunk into the deepest doubt, this is the gift that is revealed by the parting of the veil.

In the story of Sleeping Beauty, a prediction is made that the princess will suffer death or disaster from a splinter of flax. Accordingly, on her fifteenth birthday, the heroine pricks her finger on a spindle and falls into a deep sleep. The castle she lives in becomes overgrown with an impassable barrier of briars. The action of the story can't revolve around her. Instead, it must transfer to the secondary characters, a series of princes who try to break through to find the princess. Once the rightful prince arrives, the briars disappear, only roses remain, and they part easily at a touch from his hand. He is able to enter the sleeping kingdom and wake the princess. In some versions of the story, the princess wakes with twins!

The Jupiter-Neptune conjunction in Pisces is a story that happens to us and around us while we sleep. It is the secret gestation of things unknown. And, for those whose intent is pure, it offers the possibility of becoming lucid to the realms beyond the veil.
