EARTH DAY Highrock Park - plant trees, remove invasives & goats! LEADERS NEEDED!

Details

Earth Day is being celebrated in Esquimalt on Wednesday, April 24 with a community clean-up, planting and environmental awareness event at Highrock Park. Several local schools will be participating with some 600 students pitching in. Activities for the students include invasive species removal, planting, trail building and nature walks.

Hungry goats will be assisting again this year with weeding out of invasive species on steep terrain too difficult to access by students.

** We also need volunteers to help lead groups, and help at our Green Team booth at the event! I can send more information about the opportunities! **

To participate, please fill in Volunteer Registration (if you have participated before, you may have already signed this form. You only need to fill it in once): https://greenteams.formstack.com/forms/greater_victoria_green_team_volunteer_registration_form

• Take a break with treats and refreshments
• Volunteer until you can (this is more of a drop in event)
