Trans Day of Visibility – CD/TG Super Saturday – April 2
March 31 is the International Trans Day of Visibility. To mark this occasion, and since we haven’t had an opportunity for the trans community to gather on a weekend in a long time, it’s Super Saturday time! All gender nonconforming, gender fluid, non-binary, crossdressing, trans, etc. and their allies are invited. Join us for all day, part of the day whatever! RSVP appreciated but not required.
10:00 – 4:00 - Sunrise on Main (1244 Main St.) – Upscale, used/new women’s clothing & accessories
10:00 – 3:00 – Frayed Knot – (2660 N. Packerland Dr.) Upscale resale women’s clothing (also see special evening time for Super Saturday)
11:00 - 1:00 (or anytime between 9-5) “Her Story” Special Exhibit at Neville Public Museum explores the changing roles of women and includes our own Rachel Maes. $9.00 admission fee pay at the door.
1:00 – 2:00 (or anytime between 8 – 5) The Attic Coffee Shop & Used Bookstore (730 Bodart St) Time to meet and greet others and plan the rest of your day.
2–3:00, repeated 3-4:00 - Mint Salon – (1236 Main St.) Trans Beauty Essentials – tips on makeup, hair etc. $10 per person – let Martha know time you plan to attend. Goody bags for first 20 who RSVP.
2:00 -4:00 - Ra Imagery – (1232 Main St.) Get a professional 15 minute photo shoot – one head shot and a full body shot – ($25- cash only - a bargain) Call Sara at 920-471-5697 to schedule a time.
4:00 – 5:15 - Amphora Wine & Cocktail Lounge – (131 N. Broadway) Roaring 20’s themed lounge
5:30 – 7:00 - TNT Sports Bar & Grill (2511 W. Mason St.) Right priced beverages and sandwiches.
7:00 – 9:00 - Frayed Knot – (2660 N. Packerland) – Wine, cheese party and shopping
9:30 – ? - Napalese Lounge (1351 Cedar St.) – Trans community home– join us for a nightcap or two
Late Night – XS Nightclub (1106 Main St.) for those so inclined – drinks and dancing
