What would you like to see or learn about at Green Drinks?

With my garden I stay as organic as possible. I think every house should have a solar water heater and a cistern. Water and power will be to major factors in the future of Florida. With plentiful rain fall and sunshine, why do we drill holes in a limited aquifer and burn Nat Gas/Coal for electricity. I wonder how Florida will be impacted by rising seas, 3-9 feet higher levels are expected in the next 100 years. What will happen to our aquifer with saltwater reaching up the St. Johns River to DeLand? So I anticipate the changes in food production, land use, energy and life will come fast and furious. I want to make those changes in a way that provides a wonderful future for my kids.

Hello out there in Ourlando. I work at IQ Power, an energy efficiency company. I love to ride Cady Trail, running my dog at the WP dog park and usually have some type of garden in the works. The changes in energy usage are just now ramping up.
