At the Repair Fair, you may bring an item to be fixed by Repair PDX volunteers while learning how to do some repair yourself. Volunteers will do their best to get your item fixed in 30 minutes, but do not guarantee a complete repair. You may bring a small countertop appliance, such as a toaster, a bike, costume jewelry, or an article of clothing. The event is still basically first come, first served. Volunteers will choose items based on their skill sets and comfort levels with that type of item. Although the Fair tries to move items through as they arrive, things don't always work that way. Please bring a sense of curiosity, patience and a DIY attitude and let's get some things fixed!
