We are part of the Green Mountain Club (www.greenmountainclub.org). We offer free outings to members and non-members throughout the year, for adults and children, level of difficulty varies from easy to difficult. Outings are primarily hiking but also snowshoeing, walking, biking, paddling and social events. We are based in Addison County but offer outings further afield, even in the Adirondacks. Bread Loaf Section Annual Labor Day Corn/Potluck. Hosted by section vice president Morris Earle at his home in Middlebury, this social event will begin at 4 p.m. Food served at 5 p.m. Please RSVP for details about the potluck and to indicate what food you will bring. Guests are always welcome.

A short, easy flat water paddle with nice views of the Bristol hills and likely viewings of birds. Participants bring their own kayak or canoe, paddles, and PFD. Contact leader for more information.
Hike Barn Rock Bay, Split Rock Mt area on Lake Champlain, Essex NY
Hike in 2.7 miles from the trailhead to the lake with a drop in elevation of about 400 ft over that distance. We will meet at 8AM on the Vermont side of the Crown Point bridge to carpool to the trailhead.
