It's a gorgeous time of year up here at 7000 ft. with really cool fall colors and mild temps make for some epic hikes. The route I'm planning isn't real easy but not hard either with less than a 1000 ft vertical total. There are plenty of big boulders along the way for us kids to play on but not necessary to climb anything if you don't want to. A lot of the hike is on forest roads that are rarely traveled much of it is easy going terrain.
This is in the San Bernardino National Forest and it's ok to let you dog run free and be in doggie heaven for a couple hours. I have a German Shorthair Pointer who would love a running buddy - but bring extra water. There are some hungry animals out there so I don't recommend small pups getting too far from the group.
If you're interest in a fun hike for a couple hours in a beautiful place hit me up and we'll do it.
