Greetings all, Yes, that's 8:30 AM! We'll start off the Fourth of July holiday with a bang and get a good solid run in before the festivities later in the day. At the conclusion of the run, we'll raffle off 3 entries to the Nike Women's Marathon. These are entries that still must be paid for, but will guarantee your spot in the sold out race this fall. You can use the entries for the 1/2 or the Full. This Wednesday we'll hit the glorious Nimitz Trail in Tilden Park off of Inspiration point. This "Trail" is actually a paved bike path but has a dirt strip along the side for some softer surface running. There are mile markers every 1/2 mile out to 4 miles out, so you could easily do an 8 mile run, but if you want to turn around earlier, you are more than welcome. One more word of caution: There is no water fountain at the parking lot, but there are restrooms. Running will commence at 8:30 AM! See you all there!
