Only experienced paddlers are welcome to join this Saturday morning training!
Time: We practice every Saturday 8 to 10:30 AM. Warmup and 90 minutes on the water. Bring enough drinking water, it's hot out there!
Clothes: Dragon boating is a water sport and we get wet.
Tops: Dri-fit shirts or rashguards. Avoid 100% cotton because when cotton gets wet, it does not keep you warm and it gets heavy.
Bottoms: Board shorts or spandex tights.
Shoes: Sandals or flip-flops but some members prefer to go barefoot.
Extra clothes: Bring a change of dry clothes for after practice.
Water. A small towel for drying off or changing afterwards. It’s also worth to bring sun protection e.g. sunscreen, hat, sunglasses.
Equipment: The club provides life jackets and paddles.
