NOW ON ZOOM: White Caucus Monthly Meeting

THE MEETING HAS MOVED TO ZOOM.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The GARA White Caucus is meeting on Zoom until it is again safe to meet in person. If you are not on the separate White Caucus Google Groups mailing list, send a message to John Moyle via Meetup, and you will be sent instructions for getting on our list.

This is the regular monthly meeting of the White Caucus of the Guilford Anti-racism Alliance. At the meeting we learn about the true nature of racism by discussing specific topics related to personal implicit racism and systemic racism in our society.

All members of GARA are participating as part of Communities United for Public Education, an association of organizations working to improve Guilford County Public Schools. Our present focus is on securing the funding urgently required to repair, expand, and in some cases replace long neglected schools in Guilford County.

We also organize small groups for living room discussions of books on racism in the US, conduct presentations, and work with Guilford County churches and other organizations to help them with their own work against racism.

New members are welcome.

Members of the White Caucus also participate in the Joint Caucus meeting which is held on the fourth Monday of each month at the Nettie Coad apartments. That meeting is listed separately.
