First Fridays at the Fab Lab: Intellectual Property 101

Join us for our August First Friday at the Fab Lab meetup to hear Privacy and Intellectual Property Attorney Vanessa Ferguson share best practices for "Protecting Your Ventures." Vanessa will cover the four types of intellectual property rights, which intellectual property rights are best for certain types of products/services, and go through the registration process for copyrights, trademarks and possibly patents.

Vanessa Ferguson is business law attorney who focuses on intellectual property and data protection. She's an alumna of the USF- St. Peterburg and the University of Dayton School of Law. She is currently an attorney and the Managing Director at Ferguson Legal.
