Gurdjieff Introductory Study Group. Self Observation 2
“When you realize that you are not one, that you are many, that you may know something for certain in the morning and know nothing about it in the afternoon, then this realization is the beginning.” – Ouspensky If you have been curious about Gurdjieff ideas and practices, then please join us each week for a small group study relating the practices to daily life. We will be studying and applying the ideas of Gurdjieff each week in our daily lives. We will look at the concept of Self Observation this week. Come prepared to experiment. We start at 6:30 p.m.

What we're about

The Gurdjieff Foundation of Texas is a non-profit organization dedicated to a continuing study of the ideas of G.I. Gurdjieff. The Houston Group is related to the Gurdjieff Foundation in New York as well as the world-wide study of these ideas.

We employ the forms for study instituted by Gurdjieff such as practical craft work, cooking, discussion, exchange, and sacred dance. We also follow the practice of sitting (a short, guided meditation).
