Ash Cave Drumming- Hocking Hills And Commitment Ceremony
Attend A Commitment Ceremony And Sacred Drumming Gathering Your organizer, Debbie, will co-officiate the commitment ceremony at the event at 2:00 PM of her dear friends, David Rutland (Two Crows) and Laurie Macnider. You are likely familiar with David as a drummer at many area events where he also wears his crow mask and makes crow sounds to the music. There will be gluten and gluten free cupcakes and cake to celebrate the sacred union. The colors of their ceremony are silver/grey and pink but you are not required to wear those. If you care to bring a small gift for the couple, that is your option. Iggy Garcia hosts drum circles around central Ohio and we will join him once again at the cave for the Fall Drumming Gathering Celebration! It is open to the public, so there will be others there who are not from our group. Bring a blanket or chair, snacks and of course drums, chimes, shakers and other musical related instruments. Even if you don't have any, you'll be able to just enjoy the music and dancing. The meetup event is listed in several places so the number of RSVPs you see on the meetup site is different than the actual number who will be attending. They start to gather at 11 a.m. and you'll enjoy fellowship, drumming, dancing, and fun until around 4 p.m. Around 3:30, they will hold the drum healing where you are invited to lay in a circle around the large drum and enjoy the vibes as it is played. The events are always family and kid friendly and we need to be mindful of park rules so please no drugs or alcohol allowed. WEATHER: It will be held rain or shine as the overhang from the cave will protect us. COST: He will pass the hat around to collect love donations in order to obtain the permit to use the sacred space and the money will be given to Iggy directly. CARPOOLING: Please make your own arrangements with others from the group. Debbie will not be available to carpool. For those who can not attend, we ask you to gather with your friends and family in your local parks or homes and drum with us in spirit! Looking forward to seeing you there. Visit the event at:

What we're about

We are a co-ed group of free spirited people aged 40+ with metaphysical and esoteric interests who are on a conscious spiritual path. We welcome singles, couples, partners, friends....relationship status is not a criteria. People under that age may join as well, but I am trying to keep the focus on an older age group. I require that you maintain a clear profile picture at all times so we can see your face. Our events are listed in multiple places so the number of RSVPs you see here is different than the actual amount.

We gather for fun and enlightening activities in Columbus and central Ohio that feed the body, mind and spirit. We'll enjoy potlucks, cemetery visits, dining in historic haunted restaurants and visits to sites with paranormal activity, hikes and other places of interest. Because we respect the spiritual teachings of many different paths, there will be opportunities to explore these in a healthy loving atmosphere as well. Some events will be scheduled specifically for our members and others will be community events that we can attend as a group. We will have at least one scheduled event a month with the opportunity for spontaneous "Flash Gypsy Events" as they come up. Welcome to the Gypsy Caravan and join us as we wander to amazing places!

Our events are listed in multiple places on and off meetup, so the number of RSVPs is different than you see here on the Gypsy meetup. Our gatherings have between 4-15 people usually....just the right number for personal and small group discussions. That is what we are about activity and a chance to connect with people through casual discussion. Some have a specific topic
