Title: H2O for Non-Data Scientists

Abstract: Interested in learning more about big data and machine learning, but not sure how to begin? Start your data science journey at H2O headquarters by attending our meetup, “H2O for Non-Data Scientists.” Jessica Lanford, our H2O technical writer, will be presenting a basic introduction to data science in H2O; joining her will be our H2O hacker and expert, Amy Wang. At this meetup, you will learn about: - the basic concepts & terminology of machine learning in H2O (what's the difference between regression and classification?)

  • the model types available in H2O (what model type is best for my data?)
  • how to use H2O to import data, create a model, and interpret the results This meetup is geared toward those who have never used H2O before and are new to data science. Make sure to bring your laptop (we recommend the latest version of Windows or OS X and wi-fi capability) so that you can follow along. Refreshments will be provided, so if you're looking to learn more about machine learning and H2O and meet others who are doing the same, please join us on July 22nd. See you then!
