In this workshop, you’ll learn:

  • What service design is;
  • How service design is different from other design disciplines;
  • How to use a set of service design tools;
  • How service design relates to technology design in general; and
  • How to apply service design to a problem in the international development space.

You’ll have the opportunity to learn service design concepts and tools and then apply them right away in the workshop by working in groups on an issue within international development work. We’ll provide sample problems, including issues that we’ve talked about in past meetup events, but feel free to bring your own ideas or problem that you’re currently grappling with.
