She currently works on the customer account pages, trying to improve the user’s journey and experience within Zalando's site. Prior to this, she worked for a digital agency as a full-stack engineer for 4 years on a wide range of projects before deciding to specialise in the front-end. She is also finishing off a MSc in Advanced Software Development from DIT part time. Talar Ishak is a senior data analyst for the Insights and Planning team of User Operations in Stripe. She previously worked at Google Ireland for 5.5 years. She started as an analyst in the Trust and Safety search team, analyzing data and automating systems to capture spam and abuse and protect users on Search. After that she moved to the Cloud G-Suite team where she worked on several data projects to manage large scale vendor operations and improve our operational efficiency. This experience with outsourcing and making users happy led her to Stripe as they were scaling up their user operations and outsourcing teams. Before joining Google she first did my Bachelor degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with a specialization in Biomedical Engineering and Medical Appliances. After that, she went to the London School of Economics to pursue my MSc in Managerial Economics and Game Theory. Her main thesis focus here was on Incentive Systems in different organisations.
